Over the years, we were notified that the premises in which my sister and I manage a drinks stall would be demolished and we would need to either relocate or close our business. Each time I received a notice, I would be anxious and worried about my livelihood. I brought the matter to the Lord in prayer. Amazingly, over the years, the Lord sustained me and the lease to my stall was extended each time.

Finally, early last year, we were informed that the premises would undergo an eight month renovation. Also unlike many other stalls, mine would be allocated more space! God also knew I needed rest after the many years of hard work and long hours. So during the renovation I rested and fulfilled my heart’s desire to take keyboard lessons. Praise the Lord Jesus!

As the original eight month renovation extended to fourteen months I decided to undergo medical treatment for ptosis (droopy upper eyelids which could affect vision). My eyelids were operated on and I was hospitalized for nine days. My insurance policies not only covered the full surgery and hospital fees, they covered for loss of income too!

Next, my CPF (Central Provident Funds) account funds had multiplied miraculously this year and I paid the loan of my flat ahead by 10 years! I had prayed to the Lord to settle the loan before I reach age 55 and He did that! I was also able to settle the loan for my new van too. Now I am debt free! All praises to my Abba Father for His abundant provisions!
